How to Prepare Easily For any Exam

Exams are important part of education methodology. It is conducted to analyse student’s ability in understanding the particular topic. Exam preparation can be stressful for most students. Each student has different way of learning for their exams. Some students are up to date in learning in their subjects and some students prefer to study just few days before exam. No matter what learning mode every student does feel pressure to excel in their exams. There are certain common guidelines that can help all students for preparing an exam.
 Make a study plan
It is important that a student must schedule their studying months before exam to complete and revise their whole syllabus. As they have different subjects to study, plan the number of days each allotted for subjects. Make sure to allot more days for subject which you find difficult. Prepare a time table that best suits your type of study.
 Analyse study mode
Different students have different learning abilities. Some are fast learners while some are average learners. Analyse all about your studying abilities like are you night person or day person, level of concentration, are you a visual learner, audio learner or kinaesthetic learner. These understandings will help you develop an effective study routine.
 Organize your study place
The setting required for studying is important. Organize you study place with good table and chair and always set a space that keeps you away from most form of distractions.
 Try to follow certain study techniques.
Long hours sitting in front of books is counterproductive. It only exhausts you. Instead try some unique learning techniques such as ‘pomodoro technique’. It’s a simple concentration method. In this method, the study time is broken down into 25 minutes of concentration with 5 minutes of break in between and after 4 cycles a long break of 1 hour is allotted. This is effective study method is used by various learners.
 Use memory cards and flow charts
Memory cards and flow charts help in summarise your topics. Instead of mugging the whole content, create flow charts and cards after understanding the topic. This will help you for revision.
 Study in groups
It is always good to have weekly group study to exchange your knowledge. You can get more insight of topics and also your understandings to others while learning.
 Keep yourself healthy
Eat healthy nutritious food. Instead of consuming three big meals, breakdown your meals to 4 or 5 with small snack breaks. Include nuts, fresh juices, refreshing tea in your diet. Yogurt also helps in maintaining good gut. Drink a lot of water and have good and peaceful 6 hours of sleep.
 Never keep any preparation on the day of exam
Always plan and pack your things day before. Don’t set anything on the day of exam. Create a checklist and tally it with your necessities. Revise everything the day before.
 Be Punctual
It is important to reach to your exam centre early. Have a last look at you summary notes and recite a good prayer for motivation.
Now you are all set to excel in exam! A lot of hard work and bit of luck will surely help you get good marks.
